Controlled mechanical ventilation with heat recovery DRU series represents the ideal solution for reducing the energy requirements of buildings and at the same time improves the indoor environmental quality and health. DRU is available in 4 sizes with a nominal air capacity ranging from 100 m3/h to 350 m3/h and both in vertical and horizontal (for false ceiling) versions.

Casing
The casing is made of a sandwich structure with external
support in painted galvanised steel (pre-painted RAL 9010 in
vertical configuration) and internal support in galvanised
steel; the insulating panel is in rubber.
Heat recovery
Heat recovery is obtained via a cross flow heat exchanger pla-
te, that uses the stale air from inside the home for heating/
cooling the outside air renewal.
The two streams are in contact through metal walls that allow
the heat exchange to take place, while keeping the two stre-
ams separate through special seals. This makes it possible to
recover more than 90% and avoid the sort of heat loss with
the natural ventilation of the dwelling and at the same time
ensures a constant renewal of fresh air from outside.
The heat recovery plate has no moving parts and therefore
ensures high reliability and safe operation, allowing low power
consumption for the auxiliares.
The plates are made of aluminium because of its resistance
to corrosion, ease as a construction material, incombustibility
and durability.
Filters
The filters have efficiency: G3 and F7 EN-799. All filters are
easily removable from the openings for periodic replacement.
Fans
Centrifugal fans directly coupled with DC motors.Control input
0-10 VDC/PWM.
Combination of high performance with extremely low noise
and low power consumption.
By-pass for free cooling (optional)
In the summer, when the conditions are right, the DRU allows
you to take advantage of free-cooling. The path of the air is
changed automatically by the regulator on the DRU through
a shutter that activates the by-pass path of the recovery unit.
Progressive by-pass for anti-frost function (optional)
Recommended for installations where external temperatures
reach very low values.
Power
The DRU is powered with 230Vac 50Hz main voltage.
